LIQUE: Waterfront Dining & Lounge

Keeping things fresh

Setting up shop in the old Rouge Waterfront space, LIQUE Miami keeps things fresh in Sunny Isles Beach. Specializing in upscale Mediterranean-inspired plates, sushi and raw-bar favorites, Lique is helmed by restaurateurs Alex Podonolyy and Peter Cumplido. With a cool and cozy atmosphere, the airy interior is described as “shabby-chic-meets-Ralph-Lauren” in a St. Tropez beach house.

Open daily, Lique boasts a menu of fresh seafood entrees, carpaccios and stylish sharing plates for two. Patrons are invited to indulge in a sophisticated dinner starting with Crispy Ricotta Gnocchi, served with sautéed mushrooms and froth ($15); Escargot Tortellini, complete with morel mushrooms and bacon and topped in a parsley foam ($16); or Grilled Mediterranean Octopus, served with flash-fried potatoes in garlic butter glaze with Spanish Chorizo ($16).

Main course selections include Chilean Seabass, served with truffle mousse and asparagus ($42); Whole Grilled Yellow Tail Snapper, topped with charred Meyer lemon ($45); Colorado Prime Lamb Chops, complete with smoked eggplant in a feta cheese sauce ($42); or Tangle Wood Duck Breast, served in a maple-miso glaze with squash puree ($32).

On weekends, LIQUE dishes out an indulgent brunch beginning at noon. Brunch staples include Short Rib Eggs Benedict, served with horseradish hollandaise sauce ($16), Grilled Banana Bread, topped with Nutella whipped cream and pineapple ($13) and Challah Bread French Toast, topped with pecan mascarpone and blueberry syrup ($14).

Patrons can dine al fresco overlooking the picturesque Intracoastal of Sunny Isles Beach or in the beautiful main dining room before heading next door to the Lique lounge for cigars, bourbon and other libations.

Following an intimate dinner, restaurant guests are invited aboard the Lique yacht for dessert and champagne. Elevating the waterfront dining experience, the extravagant 63-foot vessel can accommodate groups for special occasions, impromptu party cruises or exclusive private charters.
