Marseilles Hotel Unveils The Backyard

1741 Collins Avenue

Marseilles Hotel in South Beach recently unveiled its long-awaited poolscape on with a backyard-themed bash featuring live entertainment by DJ Natty Rico and Maltilda Lindell, passed bites, tropical cocktails, and life size games (e.g. Jenga, Connect Four, Twister, Ping Pong).

Hundreds of attendees came out to celebrate the grand opening hosted by father and son owners Lloyd and Steven Mandell. Guests were welcomed with a glass of sparkling rosé, a vertical garden wall for photos, a pool ball performance by Martika and The Frank Photo Booth with a marshmallow backdrop. In keeping with the backyard theme, party goers roasted marshmallows to make s’mores, enjoyed mini crafted tacos from the taco bar, played giant connect four, foosball and ping pong.

The new aqua playground includes a complete remodeling of the 1,600 sq. ft. heated pool and the addition of a 333 sq. ft dipping pool. Guests can relax in 18′ tall nest swing situated in the dipping pool, which comfortably seats four. A third rectangular pool showcases floating platform beds for the adjacent four private bungalows.
