EAST, Miami’s Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Press Conference

On Monday, May 23^rd, EAST, Miami celebrated the arrival of Swire Hotels’ first EAST property in the U.S. with a special ribbon cutting ceremony and press conference. Stephen Owens, President of Swire Properties Inc, Brian Williams, Managing Director of Swire Hotels and Laurent Fraticelli, General Manager of EAST, Miami were all in attendance.

After Owens and Williams gave their remarks thanking the city officials for all of their support  and congratulating their incredible team for their dedication and hard work, Fraticelli ended the press conference, saying “EAST, Miami is for the local community and we are very proud to be part of this city. We have created partnerships with local communities and business partners like JoJo Tea, Panther Coffee and local artists like Alexander Mijares. We also sponsor the YoungArts Foundation and the Underline. In the next few weeks, we will present a few activations we are executing, where we will show our commitment to the local and digital art scene. We all truly believe we can make history here.”

Following the press conference, Fraticelli and his team gave tours of EAST, Miami to over 40 guests who attended the ceremony of the hotel’s guestrooms, residence suites, meeting spaces, pool deck and restaurant and beverage outlets. The tour ended at the hotel’s fifth floor signature restaurant Quinto La Huella, where guests sat at the bar surrounding the parrilla grill and enjoyed delicious grilled meats, seafood, pizzas and more.
